I created this layout for Valeri's Breakfast Club Challenge.

Journaling: We parked our travel trailer right there on the beach for the night. As evening fell we started to witness one of the most amazing sunsets we had ever seen.

I couldn’t believe that I was looking at the Pacific Ocean. Being a Texas girl, it was one of those things I dreamed about but never thought would come true, but there it was in all its glory.

We were on the very edge of our great country and what we could see, for as far as we could see, was the same as what our forefathers had seen before us.

We were so mesmerized by the beauty and captivated by the moment. A rare point of time in our lives. A time we hold precious in the memories of our hearts and in our minds. - May 2003

What a striking layout. It was striking in the thumbnail view! You recorded your feelings so eloquently. BTW, just discovered who your daughter is ;-) Must be fun to digi scrap together.

Truly breathtaking! This old Texas gal has been privileged to watch several sunsets over the ocean, but don't think I ever saw one like this!
Your use of black and white is really beautiful. This one needs both framing & publishing!

This page looks like it came hot off the presses of some photo magazine. The black backgound is perfect .. you've opened my eyes...I never would have even ventured in that direction! Thanks for allowing us a glimpse into a spectacular moment in your life.

This LO looks like it could be one of the professioal glossy mag advertisements for some glitzy resort in the tropics. You really outdid yourself on this one.
