Thank you Lauren and Erica for giving us the wonderful products to use in this round.

My Mother's Memories by Lauren Bavin http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.c...ducts_id=12995

Telling Tiles by Erica Belton http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.c...ducts_id=13271

Notes on this LO.

The Photo

This photo I took in the spring of 2003 (a few months before I bought my first digital camera). DH and I got the children all dressed up and took them to Marine Park which has a Salt Marsh there. We went there to take photos of the kids by the water and the beautiful scenery that is in this park.

The photo I ran through the Topaz adjust filter which really brought out the beauty of it. I then put the photo on top of the Giltedged background I blended it on the multiply blend mode at 100% opacity.

The Layout

The layout is very simple as I just cut papers, rotated and resized the elements. There was some erasing to thread the items in my title cluster.

The fonts I used for the title Papyrus and Monika and the journaling which says Spring 2003 I used Monika again.

On a side note it is so unbelievable to see how my children grew up in these 8 years since we took these photos, just unbelievable!

The topaz filter really gives your photo a wonderful feel; blending it with the BG then makes it appear vintage - so clever. Love the way you used two tiles for your title.
