My thanks to Elisabeth for her wonderful kit Ain’t Misbehavin’

My background paper was the “tie dye on black”…followed by the 2 background photos which were blended into the paper with the lighten mode …the larger image @ 100% the smaller @ 75%. I also masked off the green grass in the smaller photo allowing the pop of the black paper to show through.

The circle frame element was pushed crosswise to form ovals which fit my photos better than the circles did. I used both the magic wand and the magnetic lasso to trim the photos to fit inside the frame, because the left circle is not complete and the magic wand did not want to work as I needed it to.

The lower right image was duplicated above and below the circle frame and the top image was removed except for the fingers which slightly overlap the frame on the outside…the fingers were a bit cut off in the original photo, so they are still not quite complete, but at least not totally hidden behind the frame.

All alpha’s have drop shadows added to help make them pop.

The square overlay was left at the size it imported at and the yellow arrow was enlarged and rotated.

This is grandchild #5 and the journaling reads...Rowan is wearing the bread bag to keep the rain off his hair... and the black mark on his cheek is actually on that bag...

Jeepers, creepers! I cannot believe those brave little boys are willing to hold those bugs!!! Even as a child I would never have considered such a thing. If it has an exoskeleton, I don't want any part of it. LOVE your photos and I lOVE that bread bag on his head. This layout is simply dilightful! Outstanding work.

Fantastic compostition Liz, I love how you used the edge overlay to highlight the main photos. Such a great energetic 'boy' LO. I'm so glad those bug are only photos. I love how you created your title too. Good luck and Congratulations on getting through to the final.

Liz - all the little details in this are delightful. The innovative use of the edge, the slight stretching of the circles to ovals - all of it adds up to one gorgeous layout! All I can say is spectacular...

My first thought looking at this was "does he have a bag on his head"...and he does! Fun and funny. Love the use of the circular frame element. Nice work! Good luck.
