Thank you to Elizabeth for her wonderful kit! I loved using all the bright colors and they went perfectly with some photos of my daughter’s recent color guard completion.

Although we were allowed to be as creative as we wanted in this round, I used this marvelous kit, as is! The only things I did were to create circle cut-outs from the papers to go behind the circles in the stamp. Everything else was just rotated, resized or flipped.
The large photo was masked to remove a distracting background and the opacity lowered a bit.

The poem is one my daughter wrote for English class a few months ago. I couldn’t resist not using it with these photos.

Up Down Up Down
By Savannah Turpin
Hours in and out of practice
Up Down Up Down
Spinning of weapons and whippings of silks
Up Down Up Down
Laughter among the talented girls
Up Down Up Down
Traveling near and far to color guard meets
Up Down Up Down
The pulse beats as you hear the roar of the crowds
Up Down Up Down
I wouldn’t trade it for the world

Wonderful page! This must be an exciting event to participate in and also see as a spectator. I particularly love your use of the circles behind the title spin and your placement of your daughter’s lovely verse, but the whole design is wonderful.
