This is just a bit of art/journaling therapy I needed after a rough day with my girls.

Journaling:
Today was more trying than most. You girls did not want to cooperate when I was taking pictures, you screamed and fought with each other for most of the day, and told me “no” so many times I lost count. We left Mimi’s house early because I couldn’t bear to let anyone see you two act so poorly any longer. My head throbbed by the time we got home and you were sent to bed without dessert. But I want you to know that no matter how bad your behavior can be at times (and it really isn’t all that bad all that often), I know that it is only temporary and you should know that I love you regardless. I reprimand and scold you because I want you both to grow up to be well-mannered, respectable women who know discipline and boundaries. Everything I do is out of love for you, a love so big I hardly know how my heart can hold it!
