Welcome to DSP and congratulations on your first layout. What a happy photo and a lovely choice of kit to go with it. I like the diagonal ribbon drawing my eye to the photo. Great work.

Thank you everybody! I am going to be hooked on this pretty soon. The only reason I am not already is that I am up to my eyeballs in putting things together for this crop I organized for Saturday. I have 40 scrappers and 5 vendors and 6 church ladies to deal with (one being my future MIL!) so I've got my work cut out for me for two more days. Starting Sunday night, I'm all yours. And some my paper scrapping group's, too, lol.

Welcome. You will find lots of friendly people here to help you along the way. Don't forget to post what kits you might have used, fonts, etc. When you upload a LO. It helps others decide if they want the kit, which also helps the designers. Also, try to attend as many chats as you can. A good start is The Buzz on Wednesdays. It puts newbee in touch with some experienced DSPers who love to help newbees by answering questions, etc. It is a big, can be overwhelming, site snd this is THE PLACE to get help. They help me every time I attend! I've been doing this for about 10 months now and they still let me hang around. They are a great bunch if people. You might also think about asking for a mentor. Finally, if you have not already done so, sign up for NKOTB. New Kids On The Block. You will learn tons there! Just right for newbees! Wow! Hope I didn't overwhelm you there but one older newbee to a fresh, new newbee, that is the best advice I can give you. Congrats on finding DSP and your first layout (LO)!
