I tried to pop the spots out on the violets before I made them gray scale then tried a sepia tonal adjustment. I wasn't really happy with the results but think it was the fault of the photo and not the technique. I picked the wrong sort of a photo to begin with

I actually think this would look great with the spots less obvious and nice and delicate and then a boost of contrast. Great effort!
