This is my attempt to stylelift Karola Witczak, an extraordinarily talented paper-scrapper. While recognizing that most of her pages are very feminine and pretty, I wanted to try something similar with deeper colours and a masculine tone. I focused on using many many layers of clustering and a single word title. This is a portrait of my great-grandfather when he served in World War II. I used Erica's wonderful Darcy Value Collection and Mr. Darcy Value Collection.

Well I think you did an excellent job at translating her feminine and pretty style to a strikingly masculine page. The singular title and layers were the key.

Great layout! I like how you've layered elements, especially the clock and the curled page over the top corner of the photo.
