I laughed out loud at the "this was hard" because I totally agree!!! Using alphas effectively IS hard. But look what you created and what you'll be able to use on another layout!! This is wonderful!!!! I LOVE the alpha tags spelling out "DIVA" - it's details like this using alphas that ROCK!! This wasn't part of Fortissimo's layout - you did this!!!!
And I just have to add that your journaling is so amazing. THIS is scrapbooking!!! Right here!!! Woo hoo!!

Such a sweet layout and the journaling is so heartfelt. Even had you not told us, I would have guessed you got a little choked up writing what you did, you can tell it came straight from the heart. My oldest is now fourteen. I find myself staring at this young man trying to see something of the little boy he used to be. If I look too long, the tears inevitably flow. My son just rolls his eyes, says I'm doing the 'mom thing' again and gives me a hug. This is a great layout!

When Debbie was little I kept reminding myself to be mindful when I looked at her because she would grow up fast. She did and is now 39. So, take it from someone who knows, keep your eyes on those kids. Pay attention now!

A wonderful birthday memory captured in your layout. It's a beautiful layout with very special journaling and the alpha works great.

What a neat little 3-year history for your daughter! And thanks for the scraplifting warning--I'd been thinking something like this would just the thing for my 9-year-old niece who has grown up so fast it makes my head spin!

You did a great job on this LO.
I too have the same problem, my DD is now going to be 25 this week. They grow up way to darn fast. At least yours can still sit on your lap, although given the chance i think mine still would. LOL

Oh, very special! Wait until that daughter has a daughter and you look back through photos. Bring on a case of tissues and some heartwarming memories. Great layout.
