Can't put on my finger on what's wrong, even after a zillion re-dos. Too many elements? Remove ribbon at bottom? Really would appreciate some help with this!! Thanks much from a newbie!

I think it looks great. The only thing I would suggest is with the top right photo. I think it would look better if you made the shape of the photo the same shape as the red thing behind it. I like the red behind it and I like all the elements.

I really like this! How cute that your son's smile is exactly the same in both pictures! (or are they two different kids?)

I like the ribbon, although the lower right corner seems a bit crowded. And I would assume that date goes with the upper photo, so maybe shrink and move it along the side? My only other suggestion would be in reference to the blue font. Those words are the only things on the page without shadow, and being blue, they really fade into the background. Add a small shadow, and/or change the color and I think you'll have a terrific layout!

I would make the red mat behind the photo square or round off the corners of the photo to match the curve of the mat. You have a great visual triangle with the red mat, the word 'dream' and the red in the photo. I would definately leave the ribbon there, it helps ground your layout. I might play around with the 'remember when driving was just a....' make it less of a title and more of a sub-title (smaller in scale, all on one line and change the red of driving to the same color blue). This is a darling theme and with a little 'tweaking' I think you'll have a real winner here.

Linda this is so nice. I get nostalgic just looking at how your boy has grown.

I like your use of elements. What is grabbing my attentionis the red mat and words. In this case, I don't think I would try to match the color of the car...let the red in the photo speak for itself. The shadows are just a hair dark. You have good motion on this page as far as placement of your items, but they do compete for attention. Maybe choose which one you really want to use as an accent and place it in a prominent spot. Hope that helps.
