Page 1 of our stay at Popa Falls. The frames for the two little photos I made using a photo of the wood of our dining table. The Popa sign was from a photo at the campsite, changed colour to match. Journalling reads: We made an early start from Zambezi River Lodge in Katima & were waved a cheery farewell by the missionaries, for our drive across Caprivi Strip, heading for Popa Falls. It was wonderful to arrive at a campsite in daylight for a change, and especially one so pretty as this one. Although the camping area was very sandy, we had it all to ourselves and it was probably one of the most scenic we had, with a lovely view of the falls, bit of a misnomer though, rapids would be closer to the truth! Another “best” here were the ablutions – attractive, spacious and with piping hot water – with we could have packed them & taken them along with us!
