Isn’t it hard to believe its November already. I must be getting older…. the weeks and months seem to fly by with greater speed each year. I remember when I was in my late teens my father saying to me one day “There aren’t enough hours in the day” and I simply could not understand that. Of course there are enough hours in the day!!- Aren’t 24 hours enough for any person…- and well if you don’t get it done today then there is always tomorrow…..??!! – Well now that I am a working parent I surely can see his point of view much more clearly!! |

My day is a rush from 6 in the morning getting the children up and ready for school, coming home here to work, and then after school becoming a veritable taxi service to run my children to their various sports practices and games, cooking dinner and then back to work. I imagine any working parent feels the same – stretched in many directions and often not feeling like they are giving their best to anything. The best cure for feeling like this is to take some time out – especially time out with your family. As scrapbookers sometimes we become so engrossed in recording our family events that we neglect to become part of those events. Lets make time this month to actually be part of the events we are scrapbooking!!! I know that in the US you will be celebrating Thanksgiving this month. Down in New Zealand we don’t have a Thanksgiving holiday but lets take some time anyway to reflect on what is really important – family, friends and enjoying each other. Take a day to spend time with those you love or just to do something for yourself and be thankful that we have the ability to record these events for others to recall at a later date. but of course you can be free to use any kit that you
would like.
We will work steadily on the album, over the weeks I
hope to offer freebies, add-ons to the kit. I'm sure we
will all have fun, and hopefully great mini-albums to
