Hi everyone! Where I live, June is a month for graduations, weddings, ballgames, town parades and picnics, and a time to prepare for upcoming county fairs. We celebrated our flag on June 14th and Father's Day on June 18th in the U.S. Be sure to take your camera and a notepad for journaling notes -- there are many, many wonderful opportunities for scrapbook pages. You'll find that the designers have just created lots of new kits for summertime fun (including the new Scraps of the Season - Beach CD). Whether you've just discovered DSP, or have been a member since 2004, you will always find members willing to help you with questions on photography and/or your software program -- just ask! It's enjoyable to browse the gallery to see the wonderful layouts -- each unique and with a story to tell. Don't forget to add journaling -- you'll love to open your album 10 years from now and read about the photos! |

Be sure to check the home page for links to announcements, the member spotlight, a preview of the current Club Digital, and a listing of the events you can participate in. Newly added to the home page is a list of new tutorials; check all of the tutorials for help with your digital scrapbooking. You can checked the classes page to see what classes are being offered; you'll find that these classes are highly recommended by those who have taken them. Preserving memories, sharing a special moment, and enhancing our digital photos will create wonderful scrapbook albums. Many of us are putting together heritage albums as well; how I wish my ancestors had added creative journaling to their photo albums. week Lauren hosts a crop where the members choose one of her kits
from the store for her to make extra pieces for.
Lauren then makes a selection of those pieces and posts the samples
of 2 sets into the freebie gallery.
One of the freebies is password protected - To receive the password
to unlock the file you need to come to the next weeks chat. The
other freebie you can receive by purchasing the original kit from
the store and creating a layout which you should upload to the
Layouts with DSP products gallery by
the Saturday following the crop and you will receive a message
with the link to the bonus kit.
