Combining digital scrapbooking with paper crafts can be so much
fun! In this simple tutorial, you will use one a page kit to create
a beautiful Easter card.
Materials used:
Graced with Lace Page Kit (backgrounds)
Fabulous Floral Word Art
Font: Chopin Script
ribbon
ribbon hole punch
double-sided tape
Open your scrapbooking program of choice, and create a new document
based on the dimensions you would like your finished card to be.
(You may also use a card template, either of your own making or
available in the DSP store.) Fill the card with the background
paper of your choice.

Now add any digital embellishments or photos that you choose.
In this case we've added a flower extracted from a photo, and
matted it with 2 of the other background papers from the kit.
Also add any word art or text that you would like.

Print the card out, cut and fold along the proper lines.
Now for the hybrid part! Run a strip of double sided tape (like
a tape runner) along the inside edge of the fold, and fold the
card over so that it is stuck together about 1/2 inch or so on
the inside. Now fold the front of the card back onto itself, making
a crease, so that the card will open naturally. Here we used a
ribbon hole punch, and threaded through a coordinating ribbon,
and tied a pretty bow. As a final touch, take some decorative
edge scissors, and trim just a bit off the inside edge of the
front of the card. Write your message inside, and you are done!
