Tutorial: Working with Multiple Windows
|
| Like most things in Photoshop, there are many, many ways to do everything – this is the way I do it! At first I found myself very frustrated with Photoshop not being able to see more than one file open at once. It really is easy, once you follow a few guidelines.
Figure-01 shows multiple windows open, the layout
I’m working on in the top part of the screen, various elements
open ready to drag on to my layout.
Figure-02 shows some of the buttons
which will affect your view – if you hover over them they
will tell you what they do. Bottom right – these three icons are at the TOP right hand corner of your screen, they are visible if you have chosen “Maximize” in the above and are small and grey. Their functions are the same, except restore, click this to bring it down again, you need it this way to see any other open windows.
I do hope you will find these tips useful to you, working with multiple windows is a breeze once you have “got it” – just give yourself time to play a bit! Meryl |
