Tutorial: Adding Borders to Photos
Paint Shop Pro v8.10
By Valerie Brumfield

Adding a border to a photo is a very simple process in Paint Shop Pro.

1. Select your photo. Choose Image | Add borders.... Enter

2. Make sure symmetric is checked for a uniform border around the whole photo. You can choose whatever color you like. For this example, I chose white. Enter the amount of pixels you want around your photo. If you are working with a photo that is 200 ppi, then 50 pixels would be 1/4 inch border. 100 pixels would be 1/2 inch, etc. (drop shadow added for presentation purposes only, it is not necessary)

3. if you want to add a border that is more like a poloroid shot, just change the demensions to a larger number of pixels on the bottom.

Now you are ready to add the framed photo to your layout!
