Installing and Running the Resolution200 Script in Paint Shop Pro
The Resolution200 script will resize an entire folder of graphics from 300ppi to 200ppi automatically in Paint Shop Pro.
has been tested with Paint Shop Pro versions 8 through X4 (& will not work in versions 7 or older).
Unzip the script file and move or copy Resolution200.PspScript to the Scripts-Trusted folder in the location specified in Paint Shop Pro.
Find the location in File > Preferences > File Locations dialog.
In Paint Shop Pro, click File > Open to browse to the folder that contains the files to convert. Open the first image in the folder.
With the newly opened file active, select the Resolution200 script from your script toolbar dropdown, or choose Run Script in the toolbar and browse to the Resolution200 script.
If the toolbar isn’t visible, click View > Toolbars and select Script.
Or click File > Script > Run and browse to the script in the Scripts-Trusted folder without using the toolbar.
Run the script. A message will confirm that the first image in the folder is open. Click Yes.
After the script finishes, a new folder (containing 200ppi images) will appear in the same directory as the original folder. This new folder and its contents will have "_200" appended to the file names.
Note: This script can be run with any images, but the results will vary and may not be desirable. This script is not supported by DSP, but is provided as a tool. Its recommended use is to convert 300ppi images to 200ppi only.
