Using Ploppers in Paint Shop Pro

Here is a quick reference to using Ploppers in Paint Shop Pro. You will fall in love with these ready made layouts, complete except for your great photos and finishing touches! These are perfect when you want a layout done in just minutes.

Choose the plopper you want to use. This one, "Basic Boy" is on the All Boy CD and was created by Lauren Bavin.

Now, find your photo on your hard drive and copy it to clipboard. Paste it on top of the plopper canvas "as new layer". Don't worry that it covers up any or all of the plopper; you'll resize it.

To get your photo underneath the plopper, you can "arrange-send to bottom".

Or you can look at your layers palette if it is open, and use your arrow to drag the layer underneath the other one.

Now your photo is underneath, but you'll still need to adjust it to the opening provided on the plopper.

Grab a corner node and right click as you drag it inward to resize the photo smaller.

Now use the center nodule to rotate the photo slightly, so that it looks natural in the surrounding angled opening.

Go back to your plopper layer, and add journaling - don't forget the date! -or other embellishments as you wish. You have an awesome finished layout in minutes!
